Microsoft announces Majorana Quantum Computing Breakthrough
Companies continue to jockey for the lead position in the race for AI dominance. Microsoft made waves this week by announcing its latest quantum computing breakthrough dubbed “Majorana.” The name “Majorana” comes from early 20th century Italian scientist Ettore Majorana who first theorized a hypothetical particle that is its own antiparticle.

Most of us grew up learning there are three main types of matter that matter: solid, liquid, and gas. Today, that changed.

The lines between reality and science fiction seem to be overlapping in ways Ettore Majorana predicted. However, each Christian (person or family), regardless of what our nation or our denomination affirms or rejects, must reconcile what we see with who God is. Only He is all-knowing. Psalm 139:1-4 as well as other Bible verses confirm the Omniscience of God. No super-intelligent AI chip will ever change that.
X Introduces Grok 3 — Celebrated as the Smartest AI
Elon Musk’s X rolled out the much-anticipated “Grok 3” this week, the latest iteration of its flagship AI product. With its own standalone mobile app, it’s quickly becoming the AI of choice for a wide variety of use cases.

The logo of the “G” in Grok has become reminiscent of the planet Saturn as of late. In terms of Roman mythology, Saturn was seen as a symbol of liberation and abundance during Rome’s own Golden Age. With Grok now supporting a standalone website available without logging in, the availability of this AI is undoubtedly widespread.
The utility of Grok is plain to see but, as with any AI, the question of bias is always top of mind. Is a given AI as unbiased as some claim? Or is it pre-programmed to support a certain agenda? It’s clearly smart but, is it truly smart?

As individual Christians, we must set the standard in our hearts and in our families for where our ultimate truth is derived from. As in Numbers 23:19, "God is not human, that He should lie, not a human being, that He should change His mind." God, and God alone, holds the claim to Absolute Veracity. No AI, no matter how seemingly unbiased, will ever provide us with truth the way God does.
BREAKING: Attributes of God Remain Unchanged amid AI Fever Pitch
The topic of the attributes of God is one usually reserved for seminary or other more formal theological settings. Although it is becoming more relevant as comparisons between AI and God continue to emerge. To the non-Christian, the heart is constantly enticed into feeling greater, bigger, more grand than a God who is unknown.
As Christians, we see clearly that AI is no match for the supremacy of God. He is with us always, He is timeless, and He is perfect. He guides us lovingly through times like these when AI technology is portrayed as godlike. Let us then remember as Paul says in Colossians 3:2 to "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." We can certainly use AI, we can appreciate it, we can even be amazed by it but, we cannot ever set our minds on it. The setting on of our minds is and must always be reserved for God.
